How Can Video be Used in Lessons?

  • Video Can Inform: This is the case for both students and teachers.

 

 

  • Add interest to lessons: Teachers can find curricular-related video on sites such as YouTube or Metacafe to show to students

 

 

  • Media Literacy: Showing video of advertising and discussing the structure and purpose of this form of media

 

  • Creative Presentations: Have students create! dynamic video presentations make learninf fun - students can easily create using iMovie or Microsoft Photo Story 3
